Bonus Game

Since Santa’s Vault doesn’t have a scatter symbol, you can’t trigger the bonus round the modern way. Instead, land at least 1 Instant prize or jackpot symbol along with a Collector symbol.

At the start of the round, you’re awarded 3 respins, and only the 3 special symbols and a Dud symbol (blank) can appear. Whenever an Instant or Collector symbol hits, the spin counter resets to 3. The round ends when you use up the awarded respins.

Furthermore, during the bonus round, a 3×1 Enchanter Reel is positioned above the regular reels. Multiplier and Addition symbols can appear in the special reel, and here’s how they work:

For a slot with a holiday title, Santa’s Vault doesn’t offer much visually to keep the festive spirit alive. Still, the gameplay can be quite fun with exciting features and a promising potential win.

Pros

• Visuals don’t depict the season well enough

Even though Santa’s Vault arrives in time for Christmas, it’s not one I’d choose over a regular holiday slot with colourful lights, decor, fireworks, or a snowy landscape. Frankly, Push Gaming’s recent Christmas reskin, Santa Hopper, left a stronger impression on me than this release.

On the gameplay front, aside from the max win, which is now almost twice as large, not much has changed from the prequel. Well, the bump doesn’t come for free: the Grand Jackpot has been slashed in half, and the 10x multiplier in the Enchanter Reel is missing.

In any case, the provider deserves some praise—nowadays, you won’t see many classic slots with multipliers, cash prizes, and fixed jackpots. Its audience is clearly retro players who love to play it safe but don’t mind modern touches here and there.
