Nolimit City usually has its tongue firmly in its cheek when it comes to the design, and Gator Hunters is no exception. Technically, it’s terrific. It’s also sprinkled with plenty of humour.

A soggy swampland is the setting here. The reels are made up of hunting-themed symbols (and by hunting, I mean rural American shooting rather than British tally-ho, horse and hounds). I found the theme in some Nolimit City slots to be a little too on the nose. They’ve got the balance of anarchic humour and entertaining gameplay just right in Gator Hunters. It looks and sounds terrific and comes with features to match.

There’s enough variety to keep things interesting courtesy of the scatter pays and bonuses, and the 25,000x max win is a knockout. Tread carefully, though, as the volatility is extremely high.

If you can stand the stratospheric volatility, there’s much to enjoy in this swamp hunt.
