The colours are good, making for the right experience, but it’s not enough to create a vibrant atmosphere.

The only saving grace for Bustin’ Bacon Tap casinos is the sound effects. The music is bouncy and entertaining, and there’s a nice twang as you shoot the slingshot. It’s not enough to make the theme worthwhile, though. It’s a severe letdown for something that could have been promising.

There’s not enough gameplay available in Bustin’ Bacon Tap, which reduces its appeal. However, it does have a few enjoyable moments that make it playable.

I don’t mind the premise behind Bustin’ Bacon Tap; I just don’t think it’s got enough going on to be a good game. It feels like a picking game has been removed from a slot and given a standalone release. As a result, there’s a half-finished feel to this title.

If IGT had expanded on the idea and added more features, it would have been an interesting release. Even increasing the maximum payout to a higher level would make it more appealing or at least make it stand out. The unique gameplay isn’t exciting enough to compensate for the limitations. If you’re intrigued by what it offers, it’s worth a try, but otherwise, this is a game to avoid.
